Archive of Indexed Papers

Each year we run a major conference in the UK to explore current advances in construction management research.

Since 2017, we have split the conference papers into two types: working papers and indexed papers. ARCOM recognises that academic conferences provide a valuable opportunity for authors to present their work-in-progress with the intention of getting feedback in order to extend the conference paper into a journal publication. Journal editors and publishers often do not allow the reuse of materials previously published in a conference paper. Therefore, the introduction of the ‘Working Paper’ (as opposed to an ‘Indexed Paper’) should help authors who are intending to develop their papers further into journal publications. Although ‘Working Papers’ are not indexed e.g. in the ARCOM Database and Scopus, it is worth noting that both working papers and indexed papers have gone through the same double-blind peer-review process.

Each year’s Conference Proceedings and Compendium of Working Papers will be made available around three weeks after conference. This allows authors time to notify us of any typographical or biographical corrections that are required.

Once finalised, the details of each year’s indexed papers will be passed to Scopus for indexing and will normally begin to appear in online searches during October and November. Individual indexed papers will become available for download via our Abstract Database in early October. Working papers are not made available individually but our compendia of Working papers are available for download via MyARCOM.

Please use the links below to access the annual archive of indexed papers.

Prior to the change in types of paper in 2017, there was a single type of conference paper. The full proceedings for 2014, 2015 and 2016 can be downloaded below. All of these papers, plus the indexed papers above can searched for and accessed via the ARCOM Abstracts Database.

The annual archive of working papers is available to those registered for MyARCOM.
