  • Abstract:
An alternative contractor selection model using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) has been developed. It helps the owner to identify contractors who has the best balanced prices, which represent his capability to deliver satisfactory outcomes, in a final contractor selection process which is not based on the lowest bid. The AHP comprises three parts: hierarchic structure, prioritization procedure, and calculation of results. The prices of contractors for the MTW for the different types of work will be used as criteria for comparison. Comparisons are made after ranking the lowest price and the highest price.
